I still have 2 pots that were a gift when I left home to go to University. These pots have stood the test of time and I still use them. I agree with you that you can’t cheap out on good kitchen items. My kitchen aid mixer is the pride of my kitchen and I love using it. Great blog:-)

APPLE PEELER/CORER: I think the apple peeler/corer is the best kitchen gadget ever invented. It makes this part of baking a pie or cobbler so easy. Each apple slice is the same size and they come apart like dealing cards. We have had ours for years and it never has needed fixing or maintenance. I know its not something new, but its just the best for saving time and it doesn’t even use electricity!
