Halloween is upon us in the upcoming week, and the Dispatch has published a list of Halloween events going on around town this week. There’s something on this list for everyone, so make your plans now. Also, be sure to check out the trick or treat times and free Halloween parties for your part of town. Alternatively, you can head to a pumpkin patch this weekend.

Boo! on Broadway. Stroll through downtown Grove City where costumed merchants will pass out goodies to trick-or-treaters. Make it an alternative to your trick-or-treat route — or do both; 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31 along Broadway (closed to traffic), Grove City. Cost: free. Kids Halloween Party — Get into the trick-or-treat spirit at the North Market, where vendors will pass out goodies to visitors. Don’t miss the storytelling, bounce house, face-painting, balloontwisting and other fun offerings; noon to 3 p.m. Oct. 29 at the North Market, 59 Spruce St. Cost: free. Fall Frolic — You’ll have no shortage of things to see and do here, including magicians, jugglers, balloon artists and a kid-friendly haunted house (recommended for ages 6 to 12, additional fee).
