I also hit the North Market (took a friend with me, her first time there), and came away with some asparagus, chives, some lettuces, some salsa, and some eggs. I made a cheddar and chive omlet and roasted asparagus out of it. It was quite wonderful, and I can't wait to hit the market again this week to see what else is there!

I have never been to the Clintonville market, but I know it is not too far from me (I live in Upper Arlington). Can you give me some parking tips? I am not quite sure where it is located. Thanks!

I am glad that others are as gleeful as I am about fresh produce from the Spring Farmers Markets :) Yesterday I picked up fresh-picked asparagus, mushrooms (not morels unfortunately) and cage-free organic eggs.

We had almost the same shopping experience today! I also picked up some ramps from the Greener Grocer (thanks for the heads-up on that!)

Tonight I made a risotto with morels, asparagus, and ramps; tomorrow I plan to cook the trout with butter and lemon and make a sauce to top it with morels and ramps, and serve asparagus on the side. Gotta love spring eating!
