Made this recipe today. It was pretty great, the sharpness of the spices on top are definitely a nice surprise. Instead of au gratin dishes we did 2 eggs for 3 oversized ingredient bowls and it still cooked really well, even gave half the yolks per dish a nice solidness. Thumbs up.

I have never heard anyone call Ina a phony...(in regards to chiffonade's comment). I've seen many of Ina's recipes shared and cherished, and they're often the best and most tried and true recipes out there! Wherever she gets them, she knows how to pick 'em.

I guess next to Sandra Lee, who I despise and who I am responsilbe for getting fired from Food Network (watch the developments over the next two weeks), the woman I detest the most is Ina Garten.

She is an obese phony, and I truly detest her and her recipes.

Of course, I am a PROFESSIONAL CHEF who graduated from Peter Kump's Culinary Institute in my hometown of Brooklyn, NY.

Garten NEVER had one day of formal education in her whole life. All she does is steal other people's ideas (she has stolen several of MY recipes) and then use them on her show.

She is such a phony.
