OMFG – I love love love heirloom tomatoes, more than anything else. We picked up a selection of heirlooms at the various farm markets this weekend, and yesterday, I prepared them in a way I’ve done a million times – with fresh mozzarella and basil, dressed with some Murray River flaked salt, olive oil and balsamic glaze. All kinds of awesome. If I were about to die, *this* is what I’d want my last meal to be.
So how do you guys eat heirloom tomatoes? I’m always looking for new ideas.
