Ok, here's a confession for you. We bought an entire lamb at the county fair and had it butchered and the only parts I've used so far are the ground up parts. This looks like a really good recipe for me to try and use up some lamb!

Fortunately we didn't lose power either. We've got a whole pig and a whole lamb in the freezer. That coulda been ugly!

OMG that looks good! I want to swim in it! Literally.

My parents--who are up in your neck of the woods--still have no power, water or phone (they are on a well). Down here we only lost it for 22 hours so my freezers were fine--thank goodness. It's funny how all of us foodies are panicking the most over our freezers (as is my mother, I might add). I wanted to cry the first night every time I thought about my seasonal blueberries I froze this summer--but they are still clump-free, wee-hoo! I think my mom got a small generator to hook up to the freezer for some portion of every day....

I am so pleased your freezer was tough and hung in there. This lamb looks mouth watering! Thanks for participating in Deep Freeze Summer Challenge 2.
