		<description>Aunt LoLo - that&#039;s what I thought, too. But I don&#039;t think raw chicken would have enough time to cook in the soup since you put it in at the end. The ones I used worked great, so if I make the dish again, will probably use them again.</description>

They are raw, but they cook up much, much faster than a breast and their uniform size makes them easier to cook and faster to thaw. Rachel Ray uses them a lot, I believe.
