If I thought about what goes on behind kitchen doors too much, I'd probably never eat out again. And while I'm willing to live dangerously, not everyone is that brave (or stupid). Thanks for bringing it up – I'm sure it's something people would want to know about.

Trust me, I have fairly low standards of cleanliness. But the restroom (accessed through the kitchen) was fairly horrifying. Not only was it not clean, but it lacked soap and a working towel dispenser. I can only guess what the look on my face was when I emerged, trying to figure out how the kitchen staff were washing their hands after using the same unisex toilet.

Throw an odd hair found on my plate in the mix and I was done. I didn't speak up because I didn't want the three teenage girls with me to freak.

Anyway, I love your blog, and rely upon your restaurant reviews a lot. Just wanted to throw my little experience in.
