I’ve fallen into a rut with breakfast, but this is the kind of rut that I don’t mind one bit. This is my breakfast, every day, for the last 2 weeks:
Sliced strawberries from Crum’s, freestone peaches from Rhoad’s, vanilla Dannon Lite ‘n Fit, and a handful of vanilla almond granola from Trader Joe’s. Are you like me where you fall into eating the same thing for weeks on end? What kind of things do you make a pattern of eating all the time?

My current breakfast rut is: toasted multi-grain bread from the local bakery with peanut butter and cut-up bananas. Sometimes when I'm feeling zany, I add honey.
Mmm, now I want to change the bananas to strawberries. So pretty with the peaches.

The only thing I'm always up for is coffee! I can go a week, sometimes two weeks, eating the same food repeatedly and then I go 'off' of' that food. My older son is turning out to the same way. He will love something and then one day he just won't eat it.

Cereal or oatmeal and some orange juice. Although, I cracked open a canteloup the other day and it was super good. Gotta enjoy the seasonal fruits.

I love breakfast. Every morning I wake up looking forward to a strong meal and a cup of coffee. I cook myself a little french toast with some orange zest in it. I almost forgot… Ohio Maple syrup.
It is truly a pleasure. Don't get stuck in a rut . The food that you feed your soul deserves better, and better, and better…or is that butter?? oops, just gave away a secret… Once you've mastered a dish(no matter what it may be) then go out to eat, and experience someone elses cuisine.

Lately, it's been a "comfort food" from my travels — Congee. Ahhhhh Yum

With the current crop of wonderful tomatoes: toasted wheat bread, mayo, tomatoes, salt and pepper. OMG

Same breakfast year around. Steel cut oatmeal with fresh bananas and blueberries and a touch of honey, some good English Breakfast tea (from loose leaves) and a good slice of sourdough bread with raspberry jam. Absolutely delicious. The bread is home baked as well.
